Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Growth Engineering team in San Mateo, CA. You will build AI-powered products and backend systems that directly impact pipeline, revenue, and GTM effectiveness.

Responsibilities include turning AI capabilities into reliable product experiences, designing APIs and data pipelines, and partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to translate opportunities into shipped software.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience building production backend or full-stack systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python or a similar backend language, with experience designing APIs, services, and data models.
• Track record of independently owning ambiguous projects from definition through launch.
• Strong product judgment and ability to work with non-technical users and stakeholders.
• Experience building reliable systems that integrate with external APIs, internal platforms, or enterprise software.
• Curiosity about applied AI and willingness to learn quickly as models evolve.

Responsibilities

• Build applied AI products and backend systems that impact pipeline, revenue, and GTM effectiveness.
• Turn emerging AI capabilities into reliable product experiences, including agent workflows, tools, integrations, evaluation systems, and guardrails.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to identify high-value opportunities and translate problems into shippable software.
• Design and operate APIs, services, workflows, and data pipelines powering lead management and attribution.
• Own projects from prototype through production, balancing speed with reliability, security, and observability.
• Shape the team’s technical direction and establish reusable patterns across applied AI and growth engineering.
