Framatome North America is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and implement software applications. The role includes 24x7 MES environment DBA support and leadership of technology projects within the manufacturing space.

You will work from detailed specifications, install and maintain software, and guide less experienced engineers while coordinating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in the area of specialization.
• Understanding of network protocols and deployment across environments.
• Proficient with PC-based applications such as MS Office and programming tools (C++, C#, Visual Basic, ASP, JAVA, PL/SQL, WEB 2.0).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve fundamental technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff and management.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsabilités

• Work from detailed programming specifications, design, modify, develop, write and implement software applications.
• Participate in testing processes including review, witnessing and certification of software.
• Support and/or install software applications/operating systems.
• Manage installation and configuration of complex third-party applications.
• Provide resolutions to technical issues and improve customer satisfaction.
• Explain financial impact of solutions to help customers meet budgets.
• May own a specific application and provide technical leadership within a project.
• May guide less experienced Software Engineers.
