Job summary

Framatome North America seeks a software engineer to provide DBA support to a 24x7 MES environment, implement planned upgrades, and lead technology projects in the manufacturing space.

You will develop and test software, participate in release activities, and guide team members while ensuring effective collaboration across departments. A strong background in programming and systems support is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience in software development or engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in the area.
• Understanding of network protocols and deployment across environments.

Responsibilities

• Work from detailed programming specifications, design, modify, develop, write and implement software.
• Participate in testing, test review and certification of software.
• Support and install software applications/operating systems; manage complex third‑party apps.
• Provide guidance to less experienced Software Engineers.
