Job summary

Framatome is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the NDE Solutions team in the Installed Base Business Unit. You will work on tooling and robotic systems for nuclear plant inspections, collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.

The role involves developing software for control systems, supporting qualification activities, and providing technical support for deployed systems. Occasional travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with C++ and/or C# and exposure to Linux/Windows development.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team that includes mechanical, electrical and software engineers.
• Create first-of-a-kind solutions to meet customer needs and respond to emergent issues.
• Support design of systems that must operate in challenging environments while meeting rigid quality requirements.
• Perform software development for various control systems.
• Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle.
• Support tooling qualification and acceptance testing.
• Provide technical support for newly deployed robotic systems.
• Periodically travel to customer sites to see designs in action.
