Job summary

U.S. Bank in Charlotte is seeking a senior software engineer to lead design, development, testing and maintenance of scalable software across backend and frontend, in an agile environment.

You will build backend services with Node.js/TypeScript and frontend UI with React/TanStack, design REST/GraphQL APIs, apply DDD/Hexagonal architectures, and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS. Collaborating with product, security and compliance teams, you will mentor peers and ensure reliability,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
6–8 years of relevant software development experience.
Experience with domain-driven design and modern architectures is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of scalable architectures using DDD and Hexagonal patterns.
Develop backend services with Node.js/TypeScript and React front-ends.
Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Deliver PWAs with offline capabilities and service workers.
Collaborate with product, security, and compliance teams.
