Job summary

Affirm is seeking an accomplished software leader to drive technical strategy and deliver end-to-end system design for large-scale, high-availability services. You will build robust APIs and data models for micro-service and event-driven architectures, while collaborating across Product, Analytics, Design, Legal and Accounting to align requirements and lifecycle strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development or engineering with system design focus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Proven leadership and ability to grow teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Python or Kotlin or similar languages
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and RESTful API development
