Affirm is hiring a senior engineer to drive technical strategy and own end-to-end system design for large-scale services. You will build robust APIs and data models for micro-service and event-driven architectures, collaborating across Product, Analytics, Design, Legal, and Accounting to shape loan attribution and lifecycle workflows.

Formación

• 5+ years of software development or engineering with system design focus.
• Clear leadership and mentoring capability to grow a team.
• Excellent communicator for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Proficient in Python, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization.
• Knowledge of databases, web frameworks, and RESTful APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Drive technical strategy by planning, prioritizing, and executing projects.
• Lead end-to-end system design for large-scale, high-availability services.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Design, Legal, and Accounting on requirements.
