Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years in design/analysis of algorithms and scalable systems.
• At least 5 years in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages; exposure to React, NodeJS, NoSQL.
• 5 years of web services (REST/HTTPS/JSON) and 5 years in system architecture.
• Preferred: 7 years healthcare experience; strong frontend with React and Python backend; CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications; write code that adheres to standards; perform code reviews.
• Generate ideas, explore technical solutions, and monitor progress against plan for scalability and performance.
• Be part of an agile team; participate in Scrum ceremonies; assist in sprint planning; complete sprints from development to deployment.
• Drive story creation with DoD, acceptance criteria, estimation; create tasks in RTC/Jira; update status.
• Monitor work against production schedule and report issues to lead developers.
• Mentor associate and intermediate software engineers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned or requested.
