Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field.
• 5 years in at least two modern programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica preferred) and experience with at least three of: React, Angular, NodeJS, NoSQL databases, HTML5, CSS, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS).
• 5 years of understanding of web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSON.
• 5 years with two or more general purpose programming languages including Java, Python (Django/Flask), C/C++, C#, JavaScript, or Go.
• 5 years of defining system architectures and exploring feasibility trade-offs for short- and long-term capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
• Design and write code that adheres to coding standards and perform code reviews.
• Generate ideas, explore and implement technical solutions to achieve features while ensuring scalability and performance.
• Participate in all scrum ceremonies, assist in sprint planning and complete sprints.
• Drive story creation (DoD, Acceptance Criteria, estimation) and manage tasks in RTC or Jira.
• Collaborate with principal engineers to design and implement complex solutions.
• Mentor other software engineers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
