The role offers opportunities to work across Python/Java/C++ stacks, cloud services, and agile environments in Madison, WI or Redwood City, CA. You’ll participate in design reviews and contribute to robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience as stated in duties.
• Understanding of software development and design.
• Strong OO programming experience.
• Experience with RESTful web services and databases.
• Experience with cloud frameworks (Azure/AWS).
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and testing of software applications for Abbott Cancer Diagnostics.
• Resolve issues and mentor junior team members with minimal oversight.
• Communicate with business stakeholders and ensure application quality.
• Oversee and contribute to project plans, designs, and status updates.
• Support Abbott’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
