Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer 4 to provide a reliable, highly available platform for orchestrating microservices in a modernized operational system. The role emphasizes infrastructure automation, platform operations, cloud services, CI/CD, and system reliability in a primarily on-site SCIF environment.

The candidate will work with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, and tools like GitLab CI and Argo CD, ensuring compliance and high uptime across a secure facility.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and a CI Polygraph within 7 years.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 12+ years of professional experience, or 10+ years with a related Master's.
• Security+ CE certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop Infrastructure as Code and scripting to automate tasks and provision services.
• Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL systems.
• Install, configure, and tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud tools.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners and Argo CD.
• Manage AWS cloud environments and collaborate with teams.
• Work on-site in a SCIF with minimal remote work.
