Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Software Developer in Chantilly, Virginia to play a key role in a technical development program. The successful candidate will work on modernizing legacy applications, develop with Java and Angular (Typescript), and leverage Amazon Web Services. Ideal candidates need to have 16+ years of relevant experience and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance. Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required.
• 16+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements and specifications.
• Experience developing custom ETL.

Responsibilities

• Maintain legacy applications and assist in modernization efforts.
• Write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances.
• Create and manage RESTful APIs.
• Develop applications using Java and Angular that utilize Elasticsearch.
• Participate in Agile & Scrum methodologies.
