Job summary

VT Group (VTG) seeks an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise software solutions across the full SDLC. You will work in Agile teams, collaborating with distributed stakeholders to deliver Java back-end services and modern Angular front-ends.

The role emphasizes REST/SOAP web services, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux environments. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required, with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Strong experience with Java application development.
• Hands-on experience building front-end applications with Angular.
• Experience working on Scrum teams within a Lean Agile environment.
• Experience with Git and Jenkins.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing web services (REST/SOAP).
• Experience CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience performing code reviews and QA activities.
• Experience supporting Linux-based apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack software applications across the SDLC.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical designs and software solutions.
• Develop backend services using Java.
• Develop modern front-end applications using Angular.
• Develop and integrate REST and SOAP web services.
• Design interfaces and integrate with enterprise databases via JDBC/ODBC.
• Create technical models, diagrams, and documentation.
• Translate system requirements into complex interfaces and functionality.
• Perform code reviews and quality assurance activities.

• Utilize Git and Jenkins for source control and automation.
• Develop applications within Linux environments.
