Mercury is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Investments Team and lead technical initiatives for trading and custody systems. You will architect, build, and scale solutions that power Treasury and Invest products, while collaborating with product, ops, and compliance to deliver features for our customers and internal users.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of backend experience with ownership and attention to detail.
• Domain knowledge of broker-dealer trading and custody systems.
• Experience with AWS and infrastructure solutions.
• Led complex projects with multiple stakeholders from start to finish.
• Ability to articulate technical tradeoffs and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact, cross-functional projects across the Investments space.
• Architect, build, and scale brokerage trading and/or custody systems and processes.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance to ship thoughtful features for customers and internal users.
