Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Engineer, R&D to join the MedTech Surgery group at the Raritan, NJ site with an alternate location in Irving, TX. This role leads cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, regulatory and marketing for breast implants and related products.

The position requires a Bachelor's in a technical field (Mechanical, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering) with 2–4+ years in medical device R&D, and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, design and development of devices for commercialization.
• Contribute to design/development of product line extensions and improvements.
• Lead verification and validation activities per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clinicians and internal customers to validate designs.
• Manage development partners and external vendors to meet timelines.
