Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking a senior infrastructure-focused leader to drive the design and delivery of scalable, reliable systems spanning authentication, identity, messaging, compute, and deployment platforms.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and push for architecture improvements that boost performance and reliability in an internet-scale environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building internet-scale software.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language (Go, Python, C++, or Java).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS or GCP, and distributed messaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable, reliable infrastructure for authentication, authorization, identity, messaging, compute, and deployment systems.

Lead the design and delivery of scalable, reliable infrastructure for authentication, authorization, identity, messaging, compute, and deployment systems. Drive high-impact projects, improve system performance and architecture, and mentor and collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams.

Requirements: Requires 5 or more years of experience building internet-scale software and proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Go, Python, C++, or Java. Candidates should have experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS or GCP, and distributed messaging systems, along with strong communication skills; a computer science degree or equivalent technical background is listed.
