Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking a senior infrastructure engineer to lead high-impact projects that enhance authentication, authorization, identity, messaging, compute, and deployment systems.

You will collaborate across engineering and product teams, deliver projects end to end, and mentor other technical contributors to raise the bar on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience building internet-scale software.
Proficiency in Golang, Python, C++, or Java.
Cloud infrastructure experience and distributed messaging systems.
Strong cross-functional communication skills and a CS degree or equivalent background.

Responsibilities

Lead high-impact infrastructure projects across authentication, authorization, identity, messaging, compute, and deployment systems.

Collaborate across engineering and product teams, deliver projects end to end, and mentor other technical contributors.

Requirements

Requires 5+ years of experience building internet-scale software, with experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Golang, Python, C++, or Java. Candidates should have cloud infrastructure experience, hands-on experience with distributed messaging systems, strong cross-functional communication skills, and a computer science degree or equivalent technical background.
