Job summary

ARCHER is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, test, and operate scalable cloud services and distributed systems. You will own components from design through production and collaborate with engineering and product teams to troubleshoot production issues.

On-call participation and incident response are expected, with a focus on improving reliability via monitoring, automation, and documentation. Required skills include Java, Go, C++, Python or similar languages, distributed systems,

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, Python or similar language.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, REST APIs, microservices, concurrency, Linux, networking, databases, and cloud architectures.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and modern development practices; production cloud operations, containers, public cloud platforms, observability, and security knowledge preferred.
