Allegion is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Carmel, IN to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and event-driven microservices powering connected access solutions. You will join a global team of 12,000+ employees and collaborate across brands to keep people safe and secure.

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The role offers a hybrid work model with in-person collaboration and remote work, plus a strong focus on CI/CD, cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Fluency in a strongly typed language; C#/.NET Core preferred.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub.
• Experience with event-driven, serverless, and microservice architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (Azure preferred).
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Working knowledge of Azure services and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.
• Develop and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
• Create detailed solution specifications with estimates for stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely solutions.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and other business units.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices to improve applications.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers.
