Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Senior Lead Systems Engineer to join a global security organization. You will work on integrating physical products, software, and mobile apps to enable secure access and protect people wherever they live and work.

This role blends in-person collaboration with remote work in a hybrid model. You will lead requirements management, risk assessment, verification, and cross‑functional collaboration with hardware, software, and test teams, while mentoring others and growing

Qualifications

• BS or higher in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, CS from ABET-accredited university.
• 10+ years in new product development with strong requirements and risk management experience.
• Experience with software development (Agile/SAFe) and systems thinking; strong communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements from customer needs for commercial market applications across hardware and software.
• Decompose and allocate requirements across hardware and software domains.
• Define and execute verification and validation plans for all requirement levels.
• Identify reuse opportunities for consistent system behavior across elements.
• Plan and communicate program status with project managers and technical leaders.
• Lead FMEA activities to improve resilience and diagnostics.
