Qualifications

• BS or higher in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years' work experience in new product development.
• Experience in requirements management, technical risk management, program execution, and software development (Agile/SAFe).
• Excellent communication and team leadership in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Experience facilitating FMEA events.
• Willing to travel up to 10%.
• Desirable: INCOSE ASEP or CSEP; knowledge of cybersecurity methods, cloud architectures (AWS/Azure), or Bluetooth Low Energy.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements from customer need statements for Commercial market applications across hardware and software products.
• Collaborate to decompose and allocate requirements to system elements across hardware and software domains.
• Define and execute a comprehensive verification and validation plan for all levels of requirements.
• Identify areas of reuse for consistent system behavior across multiple commercial system elements.
• Plan program status, resourcing issues, and schedule expectations with project managers and technical leaders.
• Deliver coordinated integrations that meet overall solution schedule milestones with product teams.
• Lead technical risk management, structured problem solving, and validation activities.
• Facilitate FMEA activities (System FMEA and/or User FMEAs) with the team.
• Mentor and grow Systems Engineering best practices across Allegion.
• Coordinate between software and hardware deliverables with software teams.
