Job summary

Allegion is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer in Carmel, IN. You will own end-to-end features across frontend and backend, driving architectural decisions and delivering scalable, secure cloud-based services.

You’ll mentor engineers, collaborate with Product, Design, and Platform teams, and contribute to robust testing and maintainable code in a fast-paced Agile environment with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Angular and C#/.NET.
• Deep experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs and microservices patterns.
• Solid experience building cloud-based production systems (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, and designing for performance and reliability.
• Proficiency with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud infrastructure management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of complex features across the full stack, from UI to data stores.
• Architect scalable, robust solutions and participate in architecture reviews.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code and champion quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Train other professionals and provide technical leadership within the discipline.
• Collaborate with product managers and teams to define and assign technical work.
