Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for the Digital Manufacturing Team to define tools, processes, and knowledge enabling Allegion’s digital product development. You will balance delivery with non-functional requirements, foster quality design, and align solutions across teams.

The role requires cross-team collaboration, requirements analysis, and strong SDLC practices, with up to 25% travel. Hybrid work model is offered in the US.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in design, development, implementation, and integration of Enterprise applications.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with C# / Java and Angular/React.
• Experience with .Net Core and Azure services preferred.
• Experience integrating MES with ERP/SCADA/PLM preferred.
• Willingness to adopt new technologies for business needs.
• Strong collaborative and agile mindset.

Responsibilities

• Mentor other Software Engineers and technical staff.
• Design, implement, and support robust integrations across manufacturing and enterprise systems (ERP, MES, SCADA, PLM).
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance SDLC, code generation, debugging, and docs.
• Advise on solution and data architectures aligning tech with business goals.
• Identify technical and security risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communicate architecture direction to all levels with documentation.
• Deliver technical solutions using agile project management.
• Advocate for security and data privacy of applications and data.
• Collaborate with IT, business functions, vendors, and contractors to meet requirements.
• Strengthen collaboration across product, design, security, DevOps, and legal teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
