Motional in Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the HIL Infrastructure team to scale and automate our offboard testing workflows, including simulations and AV software releases. You will work with hardware bench hardware and cross-functional teams to accelerate safe autonomous deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Linux experience.
• 5+ Years Python development.
• 5+ Years Git and CI/CD experience.
• 2+ Years of C++ development.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mechatronics (Software option).

Responsibilities

• Automate HIL bench health, accessibility and reliability.
• Implement release management automation for software builds between vehicle components.
• Collaborate with operations to resolve release blockers and support offboard testing infrastructure.
• Data mine for insights on deficiencies and optimizations for tools and processes.
• Maintain HIL bench operations to keep critical pipelines active.
