Job summary

Firstsource is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design and delivery of robust integration solutions within our BPaaS platform for healthcare payers. You will drive API design, ETL and data exchange across payer workflows, working with HealthEdge, Salesforce and Edifecs.

The role requires 8–10 years in software development and systems integration, with strong Java and proficiency in C# or C++. Remote work from the US is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in computer science/engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of software development and systems integration.
• Expertise in HealthEdge, Salesforce, or Edifecs (two+ preferred).
• Strong Java skills; proficient in C# or C++.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable integration solutions for payer workflows.
• Lead API, ETL, and EDI design and optimization.
• Collaborate with solution architects and delivery teams to ensure alignment.
• Mentor junior developers and oversee code reviews and docs.
• Monitor and resolve production integration issues.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST standards.
