Trella Health is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and scale data-driven healthcare solutions. You will own significant portions of the architecture, set technical direction, and elevate engineering quality across the team.

This hybrid role requires 1 day/week in our Philadelphia office and reports to the Manager, Software Engineering. You will mentor engineers, drive best practices in testing and observability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development with distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), and container orchestration.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design complex, scalable systems and review code with an emphasis on quality.
• Resolve challenging issues, optimize performance, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Build cloud-native solutions, support CI/CD, automation, and monitoring.
• Apply security best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Define testing, documentation, and observability standards to raise engineering quality.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Architect and implement efficient API integration patterns with frontend teams.
• Partner with design, product, and business units to deliver value-driven features.
• Own product features aligned with Trella Health’s mission and improve team processes.
