Job summary

NGP VAN, part of Bonterra, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join the Fundraising & Compliance Engineering team in the United States. You will help build scalable tools to support fundraising and reporting for progressive campaigns, utilizing ASP.NET, ReactJS, SQL Server, Azure, and AWS.

You will mentor peers, participate in architecture discussions, and advance AI-assisted development to accelerate complex work while maintaining security and performance across the platform.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software engineering, typically 5+ years.
• Strong understanding of web scalability challenges and solutions.
• Experience using AI coding tools to enhance development workflow.
• Comfort working independently on complex problems and proposing solutions.
• Experience mentoring peers and participating in architecture discussions.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Architect and provide technical leadership for complex features.
