Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise application development experience.
• Experience with AI tools such as Copilot or Cursor.
• Familiarity with server software such as Kafka, Elastic, RabbitMQ, Vault, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining REST APIs using .NET, C#, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD, automation tools, and quality software development practices.
• Proficiency in web UI development with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance software.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer III to join the team of a leader in the Transportation space.

This role will contribute hands-on to the design and delivery of scalable software solutions that support critical business operations. The engineer will work across backend services, APIs, and web applications while partnering closely with teammates to improve performance, security, and overall code quality. There is also a strong focus on modern development practices, including automation, AI-assisted engineering tools, and continuous improvement.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $102,700 – $231,100 annually
