Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a full-time software engineer to own and deliver high-availability, low-latency systems for credit-related products. You will work across backend, web, and mobile interfaces, gaining deep business and product context to ship impactful features.

You will lead teams, collaborate across product management, design, and analytics, and drive code quality and process improvements while mentoring others and growing your own skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web and mobile apps using declarative UI frameworks like React, React Native, or Vue.
• Defined a technical plan for the delivery of a significant feature or system component with an elegant, simple and extensible design.
• You write high quality code that is easily understood and used by others.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for your team, leading engineers through ambiguity to solve open-ended problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics in the lifecycle by ideation, articulating constraints, and balancing risks.
• Proactively identify project, process, technology or business issues and lead in solving them.
• Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics, and backing on-call efforts.
• Set or improve code review and design standards and advocate for them beyond the team.
• Develop talent by providing feedback and leading by example.
