Job summary

Fleetio is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Fleet Maintenance team and build new web functionality for fleets of vehicles. You will work across the stack with a product-minded, collaborative approach to deliver high-quality code for thousands of users.

Requirements include 5+ years with Ruby on Rails, 2+ years with ReactJS/Typescript, and a track record shipping full-stack web apps. You will partner with PMs and designers and contribute to architecture discussions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 2+ years experience with ReactJS and Typescript.
• Experience building full-stack web-based systems.
• Experience owning ambiguous, cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Strong communication in an asynchronous environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Plan, design, and implement fleet maintenance solutions for customers.
• Engage in collaborative design and architecture of features.
• Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and performant code.
• Research and prototype ideas to validate feasibility.
