Job summary

FleetRunnr is seeking a Full-stack Software Engineer to join a fast-moving team. This role offers remote or on-premise work, collaborating with team leads and the CTO to deliver scalable web solutions.

You will develop PHP/Laravel RESTful APIs, implement backend and frontend features, design robust architectures, and keep documentation up to date. Knowledge of VueJS or ReactJS, SQL, Git, and AWS is valued; at least 1 year of web development experience is expected.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or similar relevant field.
• In depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework.
• Strong knowledge of frontend JavaScript technologies such as VueJS or ReactJS.
• Hands on experience with SQL databases, schema design, and REST API design.
• Strong understanding of source code management systems such as GIT.
• Knowledge of automation tools and testing frameworks (PHPUnit) is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.
• Creative and efficient problem solver.
• Previous working experience as a web developer for at least 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Develop, record, and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP/Laravel RESTful APIs
• Implementing & maintaining backend systems
• Implementing & maintaining frontend user interface (UI) and ensuring a well-structured user experience (UX)
• Designing backend solutions based on business requirements
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, and schedules, along with technical and process issues
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Coordinate with co-developers while keeping project managers well informed about the status of development effort
• Be involved in the study, analysis and implementation of projects solution architectures
• Keep up with the latest trends and best practices in web development
