NationsBenefits is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer – Platform to build secure, scalable FinTech platforms in Plantation, FL. You will work on Java-based applications and microservices, crafting RESTful APIs and modern cloud-native architectures to handle high-volume transactions.

The role emphasizes distributed systems, MDES integration, PCI DSS compliance, and DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

3–6 years of hands-on Java development experience.
Strong experience with Java 21 and Spring Framework / Spring Boot 3.x.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Experience with Hibernate and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of Agile software development.
Experience developing secure applications in FinTech environment.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy highly scalable Java-based applications and microservices.
Build RESTful APIs and services using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, Hibernate, and related Spring technologies.
Develop fault-tolerant, low-latency systems for high transaction volumes.
Participate in architecture and technical design decisions.
Conduct code reviews and promote secure coding practices.
Troubleshoot complex issues and drive performance improvements.
Design and deploy microservices across Azure, AWS, or GCP.
