Job summary

Method is building the most modern way to connect to consumer financial accounts, offering real-time liability connectivity and instant payment execution. As a member of the engineering team, you will own projects end-to-end with autonomy and team support.

We are a 50+ person team with hubs in Austin, SF, NYC, and DC, delivering high-quality solutions for millions of users and leading financial institutions. Regular in-person collaboration is expected with some remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience, ideally full-stack.
• Expert knowledge in JS, Python, Java or equivalent languages.
• Experience building scalable production-level applications.

Responsibilities

• Build with JavaScript across the platform, backend in Node and frontend in React.
• Scale core API to handle millions of requests daily.
• Investigate and debug using monitoring and logging tools; create action items to resolve issues.
• Maintain high technical bar with code reviews and interviewing new team members.
• Collaborate with the rest of the team to define the roadmap by understanding customers’ needs.
