Method is hiring a software engineer to own end-to-end projects with autonomy and team support. You will build with JavaScript, run a robust Node backend and React frontend, and scale our API to handle millions of requests daily.

You will contribute to code reviews, interviews, and roadmap discussions, balancing fast delivery with quality. Join a hybrid team across NYC, Austin, SF, and DC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge in JS, Python, Java or equivalent languages.
• Experience building scalable production-level applications.
• Strong ability to communicate concepts and break down solutions.
• Comfort with balancing speed and correctness in delivery.
• Curiosity about new technologies and FinTech trends.

Responsabilités

• Build and create with JavaScript across the platform; backend in Node and frontend in React.
• Scale the core API to handle millions of requests daily.
• Investigate issues with monitoring and logging tools; define action items.
• Contribute to code reviews and interview new team members.
• Collaborate to define the product roadmap by understanding customer needs.
