Job summary

You will develop, debug, and maintain production-grade Java code, leverage AI-assisted development tools, and contribute to architecture, testing, and performance improvements across complex systems to support the firm's objectives.

Qualifications

• Formal training in software engineering with hands-on experience.
• 3+ years of practical, applied software development experience.
• Experience in Java and database querying languages.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run with supported systems.
• Uses enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity while validating outputs through peer review and automated testing.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools and enterprise AI-assisted development and automation capabilities.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures design constraints are met by code development.
• Gathers and analyzes data to develop visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement of software applications.
