Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Enterprise Agents to own architecture and delivery of production Agent capabilities. You will work across the full stack, specializing in scalable Agent systems used by enterprise customers.

The role requires deep experience with Agent orchestration, LLM integration, and a strong foundation in distributed systems. Expect collaboration with product, design, and other engineering teams and a readiness for on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in CS or a related field.
8+ years of professional software development, including production experience architecting Agent-based systems.
Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and API/service design.
Proficiency in at least one OOP language (Java, JavaScript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python).

Responsibilities

Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver production-grade software systems for Agent capabilities at scale.
Write high-quality, tested code across services, APIs, and data layers.
Design orchestration patterns for secure, predictable Agent-human workflows.
Build and maintain shared system context and guardrails for reliable production behavior.
Drive GA readiness and close architecture gaps to meet timelines.
Debug and resolve complex issues across the stack; ensure security and observability.
