Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Significant experience with compiled languages such as C++, Java, Rust, and Go.
• Deep understanding of building systems at scale.
• Experience optimizing performance, scaling and data modeling.
• Strong software architecture skills.
• Experience working in a Linux ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data-driven and model-driven features for marketing campaigns.
• Scale distributed applications and infrastructure to the next level.
• Optimize algorithms and software architectures to save cloud hosting costs.
• Support and extend the observability stack for monitoring and alerts.
• Participate in on-call rotations and act as escalation contact for incidents.
• Write systems documentation, runbooks, and instructional manuals.
• Regular, consistent attendance with willingness to work nights/weekends.
