Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Vice President-level Senior Software Engineer for Digital Assets Technology in New York, NY. You will design scalable, secure tokenization solutions using Daml and Canton within Global Banking & Markets.

Expect hands-on delivery of multi-asset workflows, governance, and integration with custody, wallets, and settlement systems. The role requires expert Daml/Canton proficiency, strong capital-markets domain knowledge, and a track record of enterprise-grade

Qualifications

Tokenization expertise: proven design and delivery of production tokenization systems in finance.
Strong Daml engineering with templates, choices, keys, authorization, packaging, testing.
Canton architecture knowledge: nodes, ledger APIs, synchronizers, HA, DR.
Capital-markets domain knowledge across securitized products, equities, collateral.
Event-driven, API-first architecture using Java/TypeScript, REST/gRPC, Kafka.

Responsibilities

Architect and implement production-grade Daml contracts for the digital-assets platform.
Design multi-asset tokenization workflows across securities, funds, collateral, and digital cash.
Model end-to-end asset lifecycles: issuance, registry, custody, settlement, servicing.
Define secure Canton solutions: topology, identity, authorization, observability, and controls.
Promote engineering standards for model design, testing, versioning and delivery.
