Job summary

Goldman Sachs Internal Audit is seeking an Associate for the Digital Assets team. You will assess controls around digital assets, collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Operations and Technology, and help shape the firm's digital asset audit capabilities.

You will work in a fast-paced global environment, communicating complex blockchain concepts clearly while supporting control design, testing, and issue remediation across Global Banking and Markets, Asset & Wealth Management, and Platform

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in risk, compliance, audit, technology, or a related function.
• Significant direct experience in blockchain technology and digital assets.
• Foundational understanding of blockchain technology and architecture in financial services.
• Familiarity with software development concepts and system architecture principles.
• Ability to articulate risks and identify potential failure points in blockchain products and system architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative discipline.

Responsibilities

• Participate in stakeholder walkthroughs to perform control design assessments and testing.
• Enhance understanding of Digital Assets and related regulations and infrastructure.
• Support audit colleagues in assessing Digital Asset activities and related risks.
• Contribute to the development of Internal Audit Digital Assets coverage strategy.
• Prepare actionable audit conclusions and present findings to senior management.
• Follow up on open audit issues and track resolution.
