Job summary

Coinbase is hiring Senior Software Engineers for Developer Infrastructure to design, build, and operate core services across CI, build systems, deployment orchestration, and test infrastructure.

You’ll own services end to end, drive reliability, security, observability, and partner with teams to improve productivity. Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and containers is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and operating production software with strong distributed systems fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Go or a similar language; track record of backend/platform systems ownership.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate core developer infrastructure services across CI, build systems, deployment orchestration, and test infrastructure.
• Improve engineering productivity metrics, including build/CI time, deploy speed, and test feedback quality.
• Own services end to end, including architecture, observability, SLOs, and on-call operations.
• Mentor engineers and help shape the technical direction of the platform.
