Qualifications

• 2+ years building and operating production software with distributed systems fundamentals.
• Strong ability to ramp in Go or similar languages and ship backend features.
• Ownership from implementation through production and on-call rotation.
• Focus on reliability, security, and observability with production-minded code.
• Clear communication and collaboration across a team and customers.
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or containers.
• Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog and performance tooling.
• Ability to use Generative AI responsibly with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Build, ship, and operate core developer-infrastructure features that are fast, reliable, and secure at scale.
• Improve metrics like build times, deploy speed, and test feedback across teams.
• Own components end to end from implementation to monitoring and on-call rotation.
• Write high‑quality, observable code and ship production-ready features from day one.
• Collaborate with Coinbase engineering teams to translate pain points into platform improvements.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and drive your own work to completion.
• Share knowledge and raise quality through thoughtful code reviews.
