Realtor.com is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our high-performance engineering team in Austin. You will be embedded in a cross-functional squad, owning critical segments of our consumer ecosystem—from backend services and APIs to frontend interfaces.

You will contribute to scalable web applications, modern infrastructure, and automated test suites, while embracing AI-assisted tooling to improve development workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building distributed systems.
• Experience with search, marketplace, listing-based, or financial services products.
• Strong ownership, testing, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-traffic features and partner integrations across the full vertical stack (backend, APIs, frontend, infrastructure, databases).
• Write well-tested, production-ready code and enforce test automation standards.
• Own the operational quality, observability, and reliability of services (SLOs, monitoring, incidents).
• Ensure data integrity and secure engineering practices for sensitive data.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to optimize workflows.
• Drive project delivery with ownership and effective stakeholder communication.
