Job summary

Realtor.com is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Content team. You will help make data assets accessible and build mission-critical systems that process millions of records daily, integrating with thousands of data sources.

You will work across the stack, shipping backend services and frontend features, applying AI to enhance data quality and developer efficiency, while collaborating with an experienced team in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications, web services, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, JavaScript, and ReactJS with ability to learn new technologies.
• Experience with cloud-based development and AWS services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s a plus).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Lead by example to improve code quality, team efficiency, and delivery predictability.
• Mentor and coach engineers across levels to foster growth and ownership.
• Design, build, and maintain frontend and backend features for scalable applications.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and distributed systems on AWS.
• Apply AI and automation to improve data quality, monitoring, and efficiency.
• Improve developer experience by optimizing toolchains and CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate new frameworks.
