Job summary

Teradyne in North Reading, MA, seeks a Senior Software Engineer for compute test equipment. You will design, implement, test, and deploy software components for Teradyne’s family of Automated Test Equipment, balancing performance, scalability, and maintainability.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in C++, C#, and .NET, with solid knowledge of data structures, operating systems, and development tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing software for commercial applications.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms; OS: Windows and Linux.
• Proficient in C++, C#, and OO languages; .NET experience.
• Experience with development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in hardware/software development environments; semiconductor test industry exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deploy software components for Teradyne’s Automated Test Equipment family.
• Understand customer requirements and fit solutions to existing architecture.
• Create robust, scalable, maintainable software solutions with high performance.
• Review deliverables and provide constructive feedback with teammates.
• Collaborate with application and field engineers on customer features and use cases.
• Tackle difficult problems and propose innovative software solutions.
• Lead brainstorming sessions to improve product, processes, and the team.
