Job summary

Teradyne’s North Reading, MA location seeks a Senior Software Engineer with strong C# experience to support hardware product systems development. You will work on complex test solutions for the emerging silicon photonic market, from wafer probe to packaged test, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software.

The role emphasizes C# development, sensors, motion control, and proficiency with Visual Studio. Some travel domestically or internationally is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline; master’s degree is preferred.
• 7+ years experience programming instrumentation, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry best practices; experience will be supporting hardware product systems development.
• Experienced programming various types of sensors, specifically motion control systems and cameras.
• Proven expertise in C# development, showcasing proficiency in creating efficient and scalable software solutions.
• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically GIT, is advantageous.
• Excellent troubleshooting, debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Development Tools: Visual Studio, Jira.
• Background and/or experience with optics is preferred.
• Background and/or experience with embedded programming is preferred.
• Semiconductor testing knowledge is preferred.
