Job summary

Teradyne in North Reading, MA seeks a senior software engineer to design and extend software for large test systems that integrate multiple software levels. You will develop operating software for capital equipment and factory info systems, collaborating with engineers across disciplines to diagnose complex issues.

The role requires 10+ years of C# .NET on Windows, strong OO design, and experience with distributed/multi-threaded applications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of C# .NET development on Windows using Visual Studio.
• Experience building distributed, multi-threaded applications.
• Strong object-oriented design skills.
• Semiconductors/test equipment background is a plus.
• Experience with machine vision, WPF, TCP/IP or database programming is a plus.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Able to collaborate with local and overseas design teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and extend software for a large test system with multiple software levels.
• Design operating software for capital equipment and factory information systems.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to diagnose complex system problems.
• Collaborate with a global design team around the world.
• Position based in North Reading, MA with mostly on-site work.
• Moderate travel within the US and to Southeast Asia.
