Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop and test advanced web and cloud-based solutions for our Tax practice. You will lead in an Agile team, mentor junior engineers, and drive software design decisions aligned with business goals.

Requirements include 5+ years in C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript (Angular/React/Typescript), plus experience with Azure, CI/CD, and DevOps. Competitive salary and ESOP benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on experience with building web-based apps using front-end and full stack skills utilizing C#, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Typescript/React, or similar).
• Five or more years of experience in software development supporting or troubleshooting applications and cloud products.
• Five or more years of experience with developing stored procedures and database schemas utilizing SQL Server, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos or other NOSQL.
• Two or more years of experience designing and automating CI/CD/DevOps Pipelines,
• Two or more years of experience working with Microsoft Azure and Azure Portal.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and tests software solutions using advanced web and cloud-based technologies
• Applies modern software engineering principles across the lifecycle with emphasis on scalability and performance
• Mentors junior engineers to enhance code quality and adherence to standards
• Reviews complex business requirements to provide technical feasibility and estimates
• Develops architecture proposals and strategies aligned with business goals
