Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development in Java (17+).
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Devin, Gemini Code Assist).
• Experience building event-driven and distributed systems with messaging (e.g., Kafka).
• Strong SDLC practices: version control, CI/CD, automated build/test/deploy, code quality tooling.
• Solid testing discipline: unit, integration, and acceptance testing with modern frameworks.
• Ability to navigate large, unfamiliar codebases, with and without AI assistance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate high-availability, multi-region, cloud-native services with security and observability.
• Develop event-driven architectures and high-throughput data paths for trade lifecycle management.
• Partner with engineers and stakeholders to modernize business processes and digitize workflows.
• Manage the full lifecycle of software components from requirements to release.
• Innovate creative solutions to complex problems and reusable capabilities across platforms.
• Multiply impact with AI-centric toolchain across the SDLC to accelerate delivery.
