Job summary

McKesson seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve cloud-native software platforms that improve healthcare accessibility and patient outcomes. You will mentor engineers and influence technical direction while delivering scalable, secure solutions with product, design, and engineering partners.

Strong hands-on experience with frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (C#/.NET), cloud (Azure), containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and APIs.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience building production-grade apps in a team.
Experience with modern frontend tech (React/TypeScript).
Experience developing backend services with C# and .NET.
Experience designing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
Strong understanding of Docker/Kubernetes.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Experience with automated testing and modern testing frameworks.
Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software across frontend and backend systems.
Lead implementation of complex features within distributed cloud-based architectures.
Translate product requirements into technical designs and plans.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers throughout the SDLC.
Drive code quality, testing, observability, security, and maintainability.
