Job summary

McKesson Corporation in Moon Township, PA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive design and delivery for the EnterpriseRx platform. You will lead multi‑team initiatives, mentor engineers, and guide architectural decisions across microservices, cloud‑native development, and API enablement using Angular, Spring Boot, SQL, Azure, and Docker.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or related field; 7+ years of software engineering experience.
Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services in enterprise environments.
Familiarity with microservices, cloud platforms, and AI-assisted development is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for one or more software engineering teams throughout the full development lifecycle.
Apply deep technical expertise to solve complex engineering challenges and drive quality.
Mentor peers through code reviews and establish standards for scalability and reliability across teams.
Develop and review User Stories; write and run unit/integration tests to validate functionality.
Drive process improvements and champion AI across the SDLC; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
